What a great week for Daniela, culminating in a superb final appearance. This is really deserved after a tough two-and-a-half to three years on the tour.

She'll be confident going into Dubai, and will definitely be the favourite against Chakvetadze. Although next week is another tournament in a different setting, and Daniela's highest level of play might not continue to the same degree, I still think her week in Pattaya will trigger some good results in the Middle-East and on the North American hard-courts.

Great job. Winning a tournament without dropping a set. ;)

The roller-coaster ride known as Daniela Hantuchova doesn't fail to disappoint, does it? After a winless start to the year I thought this tournament was going give Daniela's 2011 season a kick start, but I didn't envision this. Congratulations Daniela on title number four, and to win it without dropping a set is just the icing on top of the cake.

In Sunday's final, Hantuchova was in crushing form against No.8 seed Sara Errani, hitting three times as many winners (18 to 6) and breaking serve six times en route to a 60 62 championship victory in an hour and 16 minutes.

"I was really hungry to get another title," Hantuchova said. "I was focused and aggressive from the start. I won the whole tournament in straight sets, which is a good sign. After the injury at the start of the year, this feels great. I had a good pre-season and now it's paying off. I just never doubted myself."

Hantuchova's first three WTA titles came at Indian Wells in 2002 and 2007, as well as at Linz later in 2007. She is now 4-7 in career finals.

"The match with Vera was a little final I would say, but I have to give credit to Sara, she played well the whole tournament," Hantuchova added. "I hope to come back to Pattaya City. I didn't have time to see anything of Thailand, so hopefully I come back not just for the tournament, but also holidays!"

"I am extremely happy. The whole tournament I was showing off really great performances and Saturday's victory over the troika rankings have given me lot of confidence for today. She joined I was really hungry to win, because four years waiting for the title is truly quite a long time. I tried to play Errani pressure against still useless if it hold back," said Daniela Hantuchova SITA.

The plot of the opening phase of the second set Hantuchova said: "There is a break to start the wrong direction. It is very important that I now rival rebrejkla. Overall, this was based on me and the whole tournament: the semi-finals of 5:6 in the first set, previously against Kimiko. I appreciate that I have mastered all the matches in two sets, it's positive."

Hantuchova admitted that on paper and casinos have been the most difficult semifinal: "Sure. I think that was such a little finale. The 'level' tennis has been unbelievable. I do not know when last the last few years I ran such a match. The final is final. It is never easy. Role playing and nerves. I am, how I managed them ukontrolovať. Moreover, today was the brutal heat. Previous games I played early evening, when it has nevertheless been so terrible. The conditions here are abnormal, but perhaps It helped me that I have given everything - a recent injury, the shock of transition from winter or a time shift - that many expected. Perhaps this is indeed the case that when a man least expects things come. As regards the circumstances, it was probably one of the toughest tournaments I've attended. the more I was focused, I literally took the ball for ball, and eventually it ended up the overall victory."

Hantuchova will next week present in Dubai in UAE. Starts against another former fifth toy evaluations Anne Chakvetadze of Russia, and the opportunity to call in the 2nd round Caroline Wozniacki.

"Fortunately, the trophy is lighter than the 'whale' of Indian Wells. Otherwise, I do not know how I went with it," laughed Daniela Hantuchova, and added: "To be honest, I do not know whom to play in Dubai. The idea of there still absolutely I'm not. We're flying tonight. Yet I am here waiting to fulfill, such a nice deal and jump into the sea. Moreover, even with the fitness coach Pat Etcheberrym we have straw hats on the way to the airport and then in Dubai. I'm happy to do it."

Tibor Macko (STZ president): "It's a great result, I have great pleasure and I warmly congratulate Daniela! Even the title is very valuable, this must be added to a clear course finals. Although I have not seen transmission, but by the score and the short game appears to be completely clear. It's more good news about Daniela form, and perhaps we will see the further success. hindsight we can say about that kind of early Saturday was the final match with Zvonareva, who has a paper was more difficult than today Errani rival."

Igor Moško (STZ General Secretary): "It is a great success and Daniela's amazing transformation in such a short time after injuries from the end of winter training. I am very happy that it succeeded such a comeback in a well-manned tournament. Especially semifinal victory over Russian Vera Zvonareva is very valuable to this event and played as well as Serb Ana Ivanovic. confirmed that the Slovakian in Pattaya traditionally thrive, it is for them a special place."

Matej Liptak (Daniela Hantuchova coach): "I am happy that Daniela was already achieved at the beginning of the season such a success. Especially after what he preskákala - the first injury, then he too came out Fed Cup match with Czech. But it shows how much it gives in preparation. I thought it only a matter of time before this would occur in matches. Errani against her I especially advised that you must behave actively. well administered, aggressive returns and shall not allow an Italian to create the game, because then she can rival apart. It was important to concentrate on every single point and not allow any evil."
