Ye, I was supporting Roger as I really wanted him to beat Rafa this time, to win his 14th grand slam title. He didn't. I have to say I am disappointed. Maybe I shouldn't, but I am.

Rafael deserved to win that match, anyway. He was playing incredibly amazing tennis. And today's Roger is not the same man from 2 years ago. He made a lot of errors which made me sick. I didn't believe he could make that errors. He was broken mentally, it was easy to notice.

It was nice of Rafa to say sorry as he didn't have to do it obviously. It's always sad to see such a great player as Roger struggling, crying.

congratz on winning Rafa, best wishes for Roger for the rest of the season.

Another fantastic match between the best two players in tennis at the moment. Obviously one of the best matches (like everytime) in tennis history.
Although you could see, that both of them were nervouse, they really played great tennis with some just incredible rallies.

Of course Roger is making more errors then he did years before. But I think it is also the opponent (especially Rafa) who is also forcing such errors. It must incredible tough, for both, when you know you only have a chance to win the match, if you play your best tennis on every single shot for 5 sets - 5 hours long.
And everybody could see, that a normal "winner" isn't enough to make the point. You have to make the point 2, 3 or even 4 times.
That is a very big mental pressure and IMO nobody is mentally stronger then Nadal. Especially in such matches you can see, that Roger has more problems with that situations against Rafa.

Great words of both of them after the match. They are some real rolemodels for sportsmanship and everything else. I felt like that Rafa felt really sorry that he grabbed "Roger's GS titel".

That picture says everything I think.

very touching moments after the match, i really like that picture, it speaks volumes of the respect that both men have for each other. last night was another chapter in their great rivalry, although Rafa was just way to good for Rodger in the final!

Poor Fed. He definitely wanted this one so badly. Such a shame that there could only be one winner.

Roger really had his chances in that crucial third set, but Rafa was just relentless, and really didn't give Fed any cheap points. Fed won more points than Rafa in the end, but Rafa won the crucial points, and that was the key to the match.

Here's hoping Fed pulls the rabbit out of the hat and wins Roland Garros!

I also admit it's a shame there can only be one winner, but that's the spirit of every sport. I love watching tennis and seeing all the players. I'm glad Roger didn't hold back his emotions because I love seeing passion about this sport. I realized a breakdown was coming when he said "God, it's killing me." This is a moment in tennis we'll probably never forget. What a great rivalry between Federer and Nadal!

Does anyone know where the ATP Race is located on the ATP site?
I think they have tried to hide in somewhere (which they have done in the past) in order to avoid fan confusion between the rankings and race systems.

I've got to say that Grigor Dimitrov really looks like he's going to be top player. He played awfully well against Nadal, especially in the second set and hit some great winners, but Nadal was utterly relentless on the big points in the third set and ground him down but Dimitrov still had chances.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

I'm really surprised by how well he did. Just beating Berdych in the opening round (who took Federer to five sets at the Australian Open) says alot. It's quite unusual in the men's game to be getting results like this at 17, so I'm fairly sure he's going to be a top-ten player at least, but has the potential to be top-five.

Dimitrov is coached by Peter Lundgren and Lundgren says he's more talented at 17 then Federer was.

Lundgren was also the coach of Marat Safin.

But talent isn't enough. There are many talented players on the tour. We will see how this boy will develop in the next years.

Great Davis Cup weekend for the Czechs. Argentina is beatable too since we play at home and Nalbandian and Del Potro have some issues with each other.
