the wait without having news is killing me

me too!! i want to know what is going on!!! :(

Yes, I really wish she or her agency would post something on her website. Even a brief note such as "there is no change in the expected recovery time and I am still not firm on a timetable" would be fine. Surely Daniela is aware of how many fans she has and their genuine concern. Frankly, it's the nice thing to do.

The worst case scenario here would be what happened to Kournikova or Seles where they each missed about five months. Neither is a great comparison for Daniela as Seles was much older (30) and had other injuries. Kournikova's commitment to tennis and a quick recovery can be questioned.
I'm a big baseball fan and I looked for comps there. I found four foot/heel stress fractures over the last four seasons with recovery times ranging from 24 -46 days. More importantly, all of the players affected came back as good as they were before.
Every article you can find (Wikipedia, About, WebMD) about stress fractures report 4-8 weeks as a typical recovery time. It has already been four weeks.

I'm afraid Daniela will never find her level back. :( I'm afraid it will be soon the end of her career. :( I hope not.

Sorry, guys.
But it's a strategy too. I prefer to be a little more pessimistic so I'll be glad and surprised if Daniela gets great performances. :)

I share the same philosophy as Fab but not to the extent where I believe her career maybe be over, or atleast telling myself that. I will always have faith, just no expectations, for the time being at least

That's my philosophy, too. I have always the worst case scenario in mind. So I could be happy, if it don't happen. And if it happen the disappointment isn't so big.
