not possible. They can't seed a player who is not supposed to be seeded, they can only change the order of the seeds.

I'm not exactly sure that i agree upon how they do that. I'm not sure what my problem with it is. But i do have one haha.

I'm not exactly sure that i agree upon how they do that. I'm not sure what my problem with it is. But i do have one haha.

It is an odd one and its only Wimbledon that does it but I think its more due to the fact that the grass court season is one month out of 11 that tennis is played in the season, so thats good enough reason if any to shuffle around the seedings based on how well they have done at previous Wimbledons, and it turns out they can seed someone who isnt inside the top 32 as sharapova's been given the number 24 seed, while being ranked 60 in the world.

Hopefully after wimbledon daniela will maintain this ranking (or go even higher) so she is seeded for US Open - maybe she will win a match there this year!

She'll definitely be seeded at the US Open, hopefully in the top 24, as she has no points to defend until then (New Haven doesn't count even though it takes place before it).

She'll be #27 because Lisicki won today and will pass her .
Schiavone won too and if she reaches SF will pass Daniela too .
But the worst rank will be #28 .

Inside the top 30 is a good foundation with not a lot to defend between now and the end of the season I believe if Daniela can produce what we know she can on hard courts and indoors and pick up maybe one or two results against top 20 players or players above her that there is no reason why she cant just break into the top 20 before the end of the season

good jump into top-30,will be 27 next monday but not for long
in the upcoming three weeks,there are 6 international events(5 clay,1 hard)
most of the top 20-40 and some from 10-20 will play in one or two of these events
hasnt big gap from below players,but will shall see week by week before usa series start.
points for all these events are
W 280
F 200
SF 130
QF 70
R16 30
many of these players have 1)points to defend during these tournes and 2)an average of 30-40 17th best result,that means will need at least semis to move up
good news for danka are that apart from new heaven(140 points) hasnt other points to defend
and in usa all events are premier I and II and 1 slam,many points there in a possible one or two good runs
