Not sounding too good at the moment


Not the most extensive article but I get its point. Lets face it, although her movement on court has improved, it was never that great. Im quite glad that im working a 9-5 job now cause I dont think I could watch Daniela's 1st round match without worrying so much about her heal. Now ive said that her match is gonna be a last on court job and ill find myself having to watch it. The closer this tournament gets the more im worrying about it, but like I said before I trust Daniela, but its not gonna stop me from worrying

I really don't feel confident about Wimbledon and all I'm hoping for is that Daniela doesn't get hurt. At the very least, she still seems hampered by her injury and the layoff and losing a set 6-1 against O'Brien and struggling in practice really doesn't inspire confidence or optimism. I'd prefer that she tanks or withdraws rather than push herself through injury because it would be a pyrrhic victory to get a win at Wimbledon but miss subsequent tournaments or worse.
Be healthy and be safe, Daniela, that's all I want.


BTW, does anyone else think that Stephanie Myles might have been Stephen Myles not too long ago?

I think Daniela has to wait again for an enough long time before playing again. I saw her match and she didn't look fine.

is an article (in Slovak) about her further plans:

"Absolvujem lekárske prehliadky vo Švajčiarsku a v Taliansku. Potom sa uvidí. V pláne mám štart na turnajoch v Stanforde a v Los Angeles,"

If I understand it right, she said: "She will visit the doctors in Switzerland and Italy (or get medical treatment) and then she will see. She plans to start in Stanford and LA"

Maybe some of the Slovak or Czech speaking members could confirm (or deny) this? Thanks.

I found this interesting. As of today, the most valuable offensive player in the American League (that's baseball for the Europeans) is the Texas Rangers' Ian Kinsler. Why do I find this interesting? Because last year, Kinsler suffered a stress fracture in his heel. So this just goes to show Daniela and all of us that not only can you come back but you can come back better than ever.
