We'll just see how Daniela does here. Dulgheru's good on clay, she beat Daniela on clay in Warsaw a couple of years ago and she had a good run in Miami so she'll be confident. I'd imagine the Fed Cup took a lot out of Daniela physically and mentally so we don't know how ready she'll be for this.

Under most circumstances I'd be confident about Daniela beating Dulgheru but given the surface and what happened at the Fed Cup, I think this is going to be difficult. If Daniela can get past Dulgheru I think she'd have a decent chance against Stosur or Martinez-Sanchez as neither of them have played that well this year. I'm taking this tournament one match at a time.

It's good that Daniela's playing with Agnieszka again, she can get back on the horse and hopefully put in a decent run.

Two tricky openers for Daniela in both singles and doubles. Dulgheru has played well this year and is particularly strong on the clay. Petkovic has played some good doubles with Ivanovic of late, and Goerges impressed sufficiently to attract the attention of Lisa Raymond, so as a team they will present a difficult match for Daniela and Agnieszka. Hopefully Fed Cup will not have knocked the confidence too much because this is potentially another week where Daniela could fail to win a match in either singles or doubles unless she plays near to or at her best.

2-1 Dulguru and there's been an injury timeout...daniela probably, she could retire from match..

Daniela turns the set around from 4-5 Dulgeru serving to 7-5 in Daniela's favour!

7-5 6-3!!!!!!!! :P :P :P

Looks like Daniela took out her angry on Dulgeru today!

Great win after the horrid weekend. Next up Stosur going to be very tough.

Great result for Daniela, especially if you consider she was losing the first set by 3-5.

Good luck v Stosur !

Great straight-sets win for Daniela today. Impressive given that: 1. she lost to Dulgheru in 2009, 2. Dulgheru's had some good recent form, and 3. Daniela had such a torrid past weekend.

Stosur beat Martinez Sanchez relatively comfortably, but the Aussie has had a pretty horrendous year by her standards. She's won back-to-back matches only three times this year (at the Aussie Open, in Dubai, and in Miami), and she has failed to string three or more wins together at any of the seven tournaments that she's played. Daniela certainly has a good shot against her, despite the fact that they're playing on clay.

This is a really good win by Daniela, especially given what happened at the Fed Cup and Dulgheru's ability on clay.

Daniela showed her desire and fighting spirit to come back from 5-3 down in the first set and she kept up her level in the second set to win in straight sets.

Daniela's bounced back well, she showed her resilience and this will help get her season back on track after a tough time.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

Great win for daniela. I'm glad, specially after this past horrible weekend.

She pulled out of doubles, I hope she is ok
