break and rebreak... dani is trying hard and basically playing well, but too many shots don't pass the net or go out.
Daniela is a little pissd right now

EDIT: Dani hold, 4-3 now

7-5 6-1. Good job,Daniela. Made a bit of a meal of that first set but appeared to find her groove in the second. Congrats.

An easy enough win in the end but the first set was a struggle as Daniela was a bit inconsistent and she made a lot of errors, she didn't convert the game point and break point chances she had and she let Craybas hang around. She was frustrated and she looked a wee bit jaded in the first set. Craybas got a lot of balls back, she hit some nice shots but she also had a bit of luck as she had some netcords go her way when Daniela had game point. Once Daniela got the first set, she got better and she was more consistent while Craybas's level went down. Craybas also got some medical treatment.
Daniela served some aces and hit some really nice winners and she played pretty well in the second set.

Sven Groeneveld was coaching Daniela, so it looks like she's making the traditional Luxembourg coaching change. The commentator kept on saying it was Carlos Cuadrado so he was probably just reading it off Daniela's bio, it's what Ron Burgundy would do.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

Sven would just be helping out as part of the Adidas development programme. Wozniacki remains his main player.

Well, Cuadrado's jacket is on a shuggly peg at the very least.

Didnt see the match but Im glad Daniela was able to win it in 2.

2R will be much tougher. Try your best Daniela.

I would like to see Daniela vs Dementieva match after that. She was pretty excited about their last meeting, but she just blew it away... so hope she will reach QF and give us a better match now.

I know it is not good for her game, but I wish she would change coaches now. Sad that she can't have Sven.

Hope he stays with her for the week.

Yeah Sven would be better.... but we gotta stick with the curly head dude for the moment.
She will probably sack hom over christmas
I watched a lot of the first set..... she played pretty bad.
But sounds like she got it together in the second. CONGRATS DANI!!! :tennis2: :D :D :D

She will have to play better against Kerber. Dani should be confident because they versed a couple of weeks ago.
6-3 6-3?? She should win. In a way I am glad she had her bad match in the first against Craybas, Rather in the quaters against Dementieva.

Wow didn't Dementieva struggle against Peng?? 7-5 7-6!! I think we need to give Peng more credit. She bet Radwanska at US open and has done this here. God, I hope Wickmayer beats Schnyder tomorrow.   :haha: :split:

Also May I say the Luxembourg stream is awesome quality, I expected like the Linz stream on Monday and Tuesday. I had it on full screen and it wasn't fuzzy!! :!: :!: :o  :D ;)   8-) :jump: :chatting:

But now lets have a short celebration and relax. She will get it right. :D ;)
