big fish in a little pond. but much better than being the underdog already in the first round, which has been the case way too often in the last months.

good chance to see her winning some matches on TV I think.

As long as she doesn't get groth in round one or round two she should be ok for quarters at least.

Daniela has a wildcard to Bali like she had last year, hope shes not gonna quit like last year... Even though there will be dangerous players all of them, I would like to see her there.

Back to Linz... Hope shes gonna win more rounds there :)

My computer's playing up,so I can't post the link, but over at the CP,someone has posted the link that Daniela has broken up with her boyfriend(Marco Panichi) and is apparently heartbroken. So we shouldn't expect anything from Daniela for the rest of the season.

Stay strong,Daniela.

We'll just see what Daniela's able to do here. It seems that everything that can go wrong for Daniela has gone wrong for her recently: tough draws, injury and it seems her personal life.

Daniela's changed coaches in the indoor season the last two years, so we'll see who's coaching her here and in Luxembourg, because that's where she's changed coaches: Portas in 2008 and Nicolas replacing Passos in 2009.

Dulgheru got absolutely thrashed by Kerber in Beijing although Kvitova beat Pennetta and Kanepi. Most of the other players are pretty average. Normally, Daniela would beat pretty much any of them fairly easily but she's not fit and we don't know how focused she'll be. Hopefully Daniela can put in a run here to give her momentum for the rest of the year and end the season on a high note.

I still choose to see some light in these couple of tournaments left. Danka and indoor courts get along fine. Linz is a tourny she seems attached to (nice memories), so let's wait and see.

Lets hope her tennis works as a way to avoid the whole thing with her exboyfriend (if rumours are true), or to feel better about it.

If not, we're still here with you and believe in you, danka :)

Oh gosh, I remember that match, and how Daniela was yelling at her team during the breaks. I too, thought she was still with Angel, but looks like Chungwit has the photographic evidence.

Not too sure about her chances here. Despite the relatively "easy" field, there are still many players here who can cause her a lot of trouble.. and Daniela really hasn't shown a lot of consistency within a single match, let alone in a tournament.

Looking back at this season, I really thought the match against Jankovic at Charleston would be her Hingis Doha '07 equivalent, but unfortunately, the trend didn't continue. Oh well, lets end this season on a high!
