I expect suckage like this year, losses to everyone decent. Daniela is done imo. I would be very surprised if she did anything remotely interesting.

Oh, well... I just hope she can crack the top 20. But her improvement has been so slow... I dont want to get my hopes on. But I know Daniela is a fighter, and I wish her the best... Hope she can find some form and consistency in a couple of tourneys at least...

Realistically, Daniela struggled in a season of women's tennis that was pretty weak. I still think there's potential for a solid 2010 but she's got to dedicate herself to improving over the summer. Her movement needs to be where it was at in 2007 and her serve has got to become a weapon. If she can do that (big if), there's no telling what the year may bring.

I expect the season like 2009. She will win matches against less strong opponents,but she wont be able to surprise against Top 10 player. I expect Top 20 spot,but no title.

I hope she will win a tournament, reach the fourth round of all the "Grand-Chelems". I expect a top-20 ranking and some disappointing results as usual :|

With her performance right now, I think she can somehow manage to stay in top 25 or with a bit of luck top 20 but no more. She basically has no weapon to compete with the top girls and even with some up-and-coming young talents. Her game is beautiful but that is. She has no consistency, which unfortunately is very important to get some big wins.

So I expect another up and down season. We will have here and there some good wins, no title.

In 2010 Daniela will finally play that kind of tennis that everybody of her fans dreamed of for years.

Daniela will reach the SFs of AO and Wimbledon, she will be the first one to win Indian Wells three times and she will also win Linz for another time.
And of course she will be back in the top 10 and will play at the Sony Ericsson Championships in Doha. ;)

I think Daniela will have a pretty good year in 2010. Although it's going to be extra tough seeing as we now have Henin, Clijsters and Sharapova back in the mix with the Williams sisters. I think this will make Daniela fight even more.

I think at least one quarterfinal or better at a grand slam. Although I desperately hope she can make one grand slam final in her career. Her best chance I feel will be at the Australian Open. I'm already incredibly excited!!!!!!!! It's going to be such a dramatic year of tennis ahead, and extremely competitive.

Maybe, just maybe she can sneak a title, hopefully a biggy but more likely a Hertergenbosh or Stanford.

But it will definitely be the make or break year for Daniela. Especially confidence wise. Each year she gets older it will be harder to keep up physically with the young guns.

My prediction for top 10 this time next year will be:

1. Serena Williams
2. Clijsters
3. Henin
4. Venus Williams
5. Sharapova
6. Safina
7. Dementieva
8. Ivanovic
9.Daniela??
10. Azarenka

I think players like Wozniacki, Pennetta and Bartoli will really struggle next year.

I agree with almost everyone. Nothing big is going to happen for Daniela next year, and she'll end 2010 ranked somewhere between nr.20 and 30, just like this year. This begs the next question: how much longer will Daniela stay on the tour, if she can't substantially improve her tennis and her results? I don't see her playing until she's 30 and ranked no. 70

this is the same question i have... i think she will play maybe 2 years more, but not longer.. :? didn't she said that she was looking forward to do some other things after tennis, for example something with fashion?

In other interviews, she said that she still loves tennis and has
a lot of years of carreer ahead...

As for the next season, i believe Dani will enter top 20 again
but i dont think that she will reach top 10.
And perhaps an appearance in a final, but only in a "smaller" tournament.

honestly: I have no idea.almost anything could happen, except a Grand Slam win and top 7.
