That tie had so much drama!! Danka and Ai played amazing when being down. Ai turned into a wall on MP... amazing! They deserve to have slams as a team

but any TV station that didn't flip to the tiebreaker deserves to have their license revoked.
Eurosport surely didn't. Bunch of clowns.

omg what a tie-break. I think my heart was beating faster than the players'. Great fight back. Just wow.

I was thinking that i would die during the TB .. I think they saved 7 MP during the TB which is remarkable .

THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so happy for Daniela and Ai. They played excellent when they were down. What an intense tie breaker. They really focused there. And that pure joy at the end was such a great moment to watch.

Chungwit's right - these are the moments that as a fan, make it worth it, even if it is doubles!

Hantuyama are now the higher seeds in the tournament being seeded 9 and Williams sisters seeded 10 .

Hantuyama will now play against the 11th seeds Llagostera Vives/Martinez Sanchez or against Dechy/Santangelo . The match is now in the 3rd set with Dechy/Santangelo losing the 1st set 6-3 and winning the 2nd in the TB .

There is no "sports voodoo" argument here. This sort of thing has happened to Daniela before. Take a look at 2007-after a heartbreaking loss to Serena Williams she suddenly found herself unable to beat a top 50 player in drought that lasted until a titanical struggle with Patty Schnyder in Luxembourg. After that she records wins over Safarova,Bartoli,Safina and wins Linz by beating 4 top 50 players in a row.

My car broke down a few times. Twice it was the alternator and another time it was fan belt. Crazy world.

MCA in twenty minutes.

Thank you very much for the link ! :D I could see the match.

Wow ! I didn't think I would be so stressed for a doubles match ! What a hitchcockian suspense !
Black-Huber were leading 5-2 in the third set, they were leading 6-2 in the third set tie-break (three match points !), they had six or seven match points (I think) ! I don't know how long it lasted but what an incredible match :!: :!:
They suddenly played so well when they were down 2-5 in the third set !

Fan de Daniela en toutes circonstances.

I just took a screen shot from the livestream after the match. I didn't record it, hopefully someone did though.

yes, i hope someone was able to record it. i'd love to re-watch their reactions at winning. i still laugh at their hug at the end, and how daniela had to hunch her back to reach ai! :)

Dechy and Santangelo will be next, as they won 3-6, 7-6, 7-6. They saved a mere one match point, so they really have nothing on our gals :)
