Despite her loss to Zvonareva, Safina will rise to number 2 in the world next week. What a good six months it has been for her. If she continues playing like this next year then she has a very good chance of taking the world number 1 spot because she has few points to defend until Berlin. Jankovic and S.Williams have quite a few points to defend in the first six months of the year so everything is possible for the Russian. |
