good start. Her serve is strong, even the second serve looks good. Hits a lot of winners. So far 5. Ai 0. Only 2 UEs by Danka

Im glad its underway, gives me a reason to stay up, but ive got work tomorrow so i hope it isnt one of danielas nail biting 3 setters, shes made a good start though, hope she maintains it

The livestream is a bit behind the live scoreboard which is really annoying. You cannot just watch the livestream as it's hard to keep score on your own.

very bad service game from Daniela. She seems very impatient. Makes stupid mistakes, and tries too hard to make aces down the T. She faults and Ai punishes the second serve. Daniela's level has dropped since the first 3-4 games and Ai is taking advantage of it. Come on Daniela. Fight back.

it seems that is gonna be extremely nail biting

She has to struggle and is really disappointed now...

Was 3-0 up, playing perfectly, then made 3 stupid errors in clearly winning positions at the net, lost the serve and since been playing crap. How typical.

I might have miscounted a bit, but I count 13 winners by Daniela and 19 UEs in the first set.

In the first 3 games: 8 winners and 6 UEs. In the last 6 games: 5 winners and 13 UEs.

First 3 games of 2nd set: 3 winners and 8 UEs.

edit: 2-0 to sugi. I think Dani had mentally disappeared from this match

Now 3-0. Sugi has won 9 games in a row...and dani's UE is just rising and rising.

this is bad. Daniela seems very frustrated. She needs to be more patient and cut down the UEs. She can fight back. Come on Danka.
