It's not bad at all, if she keeps her Birmingham form she can get to round 3. There she might meet any of the following dangerous players: Halep (very hot at the moment), Krajicek (isn't she good in grass?), or Li (GS champion).

Not bad at all. Kookie has posted good results at Wimbledon in recent years,so I'll not look beyond her at the moment.

Much better draw than the French but anything can happen. And first round matches are always scary. Any win in the singles here and i'll be happy.

She has to reach R3, at least, here. Zakopalova can be tricky but Daniela has more than game to beat her. 2R it's even easier with Beck (she won against Bratchikova last week 2 & 2). Lost to Azarenka in RG, and 1R in Den Bosch, losing to Halep, but winning a set, (6-1, 2-6, 6-3). R3, I really think Halep will be the opposite. She's playing wonderfully in grass at the moment and, unless she runs out of gas, like Daniela in Den Bosch, she'll be a really tough match

Daniela will play on Tuesday, I reckon could get on court 2 or 3. Really don't want it to be a last match of the day or a "to be decided" match..

Doubles draw here too:

1r Hantuchova/Kirilenko (14) vs Irigoyen/Ormaechea
2r Soler Espinose/Suaraz Navarro or Tara Moore/Melanie South
3r Hradecka/Hlavackova (2)

That's a pretty good draw too. Would be nice for a good run in doubles too.

I won't put as much pressure on her reaching R3. I just hope her confidence is pretty high and her game starts flowing like in Birmingham. If that is the case, then the wins will surely come.

ps: if she gets there, I hope someone deals with Halep before, haha. She is so dangerous at the moment.

It's a pretty decent draw as Daniela's avoided any of the really top players.

At the same time Zakopalova did beat Daniela the last time they played in Indian Wells last year, although Daniela was sick, and their matches have generally been close. If Daniela's plays like she did in Birmingham and especially if she fights like she did in Birmingham, then she can have a good run here. One good thing about starting on Tuesday is that Daniela can have another day to recuperate and prepare. Bratchikova beat Daniela in Pattaya, although that was as much due to the scheduling and Daniela being nauseous, and Beck is good young player, so neither of them can be overlooked. The likely third round opponents would be Li Na or Halep. Halep's in great form at the moment and beat Daniela in Rome so would be tough while Daniela has a good record against Li Ba and beat her on grass in Eastbourne two years ago. Daniela has to focus on getting past Zakopalova first so we've got to take this one match at a time.

The doubles draw is decent for the first couple of rounds although Hlavackova & Hradecka will be very tough opponets in the third round.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

Since I awoke today with the thought that Dani had drawn Serena in the first round (just me and my warped mind!), this is OK. I'd have to think that if she and Mrs. Ovechkin to be get to the 3rd round, Hradecka and Hlavackova would not only be tough anyhow, but they both had Daniela withdraw on them in recent weeks, so that might give them a teeny bit more motivation. Dani broke through a lot of things that had plagued her in Birmingham, so next on the list obviously is to end the 4 straight majors losing in the first round. That's the brick wall. Break it down, and a decent run is very possible. We know how high her motivation level is! And it's a darn good thing she didn't get Hampton this time!

Let's Go, Daniela!
