Does Starsports show this event like last year? I think they showed at least the semis and the final against Davenport. |

Daniela will play Yung-Jan Chan in the quarter-finals, who beat number 9 seed Peng Shuai 6-1 7-5. I think this should be a comfortable match for Daniela, most likely straight sets, although going on the past few months in could turn into a three-set marathon. I wish I could be optimistic like you. Any player can get in the QF cannot be underestimated by any means. Well, simply because I think its turning into an ok week for Daniela. She's won a match in both the singles and doubles, and is the top seed in both events, which must give her some confidence (I am actually quite surprised no one has mentioned this as a plus point). In her current quarter-final doubles match, she is at one-set-all, but I think the more experienced duo of Daniela and Flavia will pull through in the champions tie-break. I don't think Yung-Jan Chan has enough weapons to hurt Daniela, so unless she makes loads of mistakes, and I mean loads, I can't see her losing. So I am expecting at least a semi-final showing in both the singles and doubles, which will be a good performance for her considering her recent form. |

Surprisingly, Daniela and Flavia lost their doubles match, losing in the champions tie-break by 10 points to 6. To be honest, I think had this been a tie-break set rather than a champions tie-break I think Daniela and Flavia would have won. Although I guess this gives Daniela more time and rest to prepare for her singles quarter-final. |

Quarter-finalist in the doubles and a very realistic chance of getting to at least the semi-final stage in the singles. Good considering she was a first round casualty at the US Open. |

Daniela should be on court shortly, the live score on the wta website seems to of given up, but good old livescore.com shows Domachowska vs Schnyder at 2-6 2-5 so Daniela's quarter final, should, be soon Scott |

Daniela has a 4-0 lead. Clearly cruising at the moment, although she has just lost a game. Now leads 4-1*. |
