been without internet for a couple of days and pops in to see that Daniela has won two tough matches. Way to go. I should consider going without internet some more.

Oh definitely. Probably it's the best. LOL
Joking!

But I'm quite happy to see she won it. Finally back to Top 25.

I haven't had internet for the last couple of days but it's really fantastic to see Daniela's results!

The win against Aga would have to be her best of the season. Bring on Dementieva, i say haha.

A top win from Daniela, that really highlights the difference in her now compared to in Sydney in January this year.
A good come-back, which we haven't seen from her in a while. When Daniela plays well and is competitive she can beat these kinds of opponants time and time again. Radwanska is far too defensive and thats probably why she is now out of the top-ten.
A quarter-final at this tournament a couple of years back did not seem such a big achievement (perhaps because Daniela was consistently getting better results, but also because the player field was no where near as strong). To reach the quarters this year is a solid achievement and Daniela can be confident going into her match against Dementieva. She has beaten her on American hard-courts before, and can certainly do it again if she plays near to her best and with confidence. Dementieva thrashed Kirilenko in the R16, but that doesn't say an awful lot because Kirilenko has been well out of form this year. I'm really hoping for a competitive match tomorrow. If Daniela takes a set off Dementieva then I'll be relatively happy, but I do think she has a chance of winning and reaching the semi-finals.

:wav: A brilliant win by Daniela to fight back from a set and a break down against a quality opponent.
This is the second straight tournament where she's beaten a top 20 player and this is Daniela's best win of the year as Radwanska was in good form but Daniela fought back to win against an opponent who as playing well but Daniela outplayed her. This will really boost Daniela's confidence and give her more momemtum at a time when she has so many points to pick up. Great win and I'm so happy for Daniela.

Dementieva will be a much tougher opponent but Daniela's last win against her was in California and it's an opportunity for her to get a big win.

Thanks to Artur and eddy for the match reports.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

What a win !!! I really didn't expact such a great result against Radwanska. Certainly the best match so far this year.
Good luck against Elena.

Great, a pretty good win against Radwanska. Maybe Dani has more confidence than in the beginning of the season. I don't know why but I'm very pleased with this :P

She has to serve well against Elena 'cause on the baseline, it will be difficult to be better than the Russian :|

OMG, a friend just told me about dankas win...I havent had internet service for two weeks now (Im dying here!). But as soon as I heard this, I had to come and see about the match. Elena will be a very very tough opponent, but she is sensible to choke and to lose confidence, hope danka can make a big fight. Nice to see daniela getting closer to the top 20 :D

Good luck girl! :slovakia:
