will be a great match to watch

it's been a while he had some good results in a row

Yes, I hope it will be a great match as well, just hope that the niggiling injuries that Murray was talking about in his post match interview dont hold him back too much from making a good effort against Roddick. Ive watched quite a bit of Roddick in this tournament and his serve it really on song at the moment despite his recent shoulder problems, but Andy has a good record against the American number 1, he knows how to beat him and he won their one and only grass court match up so far back at Wimbledon. If Murray is 100% tomorrow, this will be a really, really good match

seems its worse then he thought, he withdraws from his match

Yep, heard the it on the news on my way home. He withdraw with a thumb injury so nothing wrong with his neck and groin which were the other two injury scares and i think his withdrawal today was just a precaution. I dont know if he is playing Nottingham next week but he has said that he will be fit for Wimbledon a week on monday

Honestly I doubt it was only a thumb injury..... Who would withdraw from a semi because of a thumb injury??

It does sound a little pathetic but I was reading the Guardian earlier and they made a good point. After missing the entire grass court season and most of the clay court season with a wrist injury last season, Andy was probably just being overly cautious to ensure he played at Wimbledon this year. By the sounds of what Andy was saying his thumb was causing him sufficient problems and I cant say I was surprised he withdraw from his Quarter Final with Roddick last week. Murray said that he couldnt bend him thumb much at all without it causing him pain and that it was tough to grip the racket properly. His philosophy was if I cant hold my racket properly then whats the point
