Caroline Wozniacki with Nick Bendtner, greatest player ever. I though she was a Liverpool fan.

Tennis players and Arsenal players don't mix too well, look at Martina Hingis and Sol Campbell and Tatiana Golovin and Samir Nasri.

If you want success in Tennis, you marry a basketball player. Look at Kim Clijsters and Shazza.
Sasha Vucavic (Sp?) has lots of experience of sitting and cheering while someone else scores important points, that's what he did at the Lakers. He does look quite the lothario that fellow.

Injured Clijsters Out Of Upcoming US Open

NEW YORK, NY, USA - Due to a left abdominal injury she suffered in Toronto last week, Kim Clijsters has withdrawn from the upcoming US Open, where she has won three times - 2005, 2009 and 2010. She is currently ranked No.3.

"Unfortunately, I will not be able to defend my US Open title this year because of a stomach muscle injury," the 28-year-old commented. "Two weeks of rehab was not enough to heal this injury. Obviously I'm very disappointed. I trained very hard this summer and felt in a good shape to play the US Open.

"Now there is nothing else I can do than to rest and have treatment every day. If a gradual approach is not taken, I will relapse in the same injury, and therefore I have also no other possibility than to withdraw from Tokyo and Beijing."

Clijsters is a four-time Grand Slam champion, winning the aforementioned three US Open titles as well as the Australian Open title earlier this year.

What is it about Sam Stosur that she keeps on having amazing matches against Russians at the US Open? The match against Dementieva last year and then against Petrova and Kirilenko this year. She's playing Vera Zvonareva next so that should be worth watching.

Agnieszka just lost to Safarova in Moscow and if she'd won, she'd have qualified for Istanbul but Bartoli can still pip Agnieszka by winning Moscow. If Bartoli does qualify, then Daniela will have beaten 5 of the 8 finalists this year, but I'd still want Agnieszka to get there.
