Well I am a big fan of hers. She is my second favourite tennis player. I've been following her since 2005.
Then I've noticed some of the rest of you seem to be impressed by her, so I think she is worthy of a thread here.

This week she is playing in Portoroz. She is seeded 3. And she has just won her 1st round match against Klepac 7-5 6-0. She struggled a bit in the first set. Trailing 4-1 and down with break point again, but fought back and controlled from then on.

R16: Rodina or Sprem
QF: Pironkova (seeded 5)
SF: Kirilenko

I would love to see Caroline's first title come here on Sunday. It is long overdue.

Pironkova has been knocked out by Brit Katie O'Brien today so I guess the draw is opening up for Wozniacki.

Yeah, way to go Caro. She stormed to a 5-0 lead in the first set, and was up 30-0 on Sprem's serve. But Sprem fought back and also Caro's last service game of the set was long. In the second set, they went to 1-1, and then Caro stormed to win 6-1. Good win for Caro again. Next up, Dushevina.

I don't see anyone at the moment in the draw left to stop Wozniacki. So the title is hers I think.

Wow she really has bulldozed the field here and hopefully she can keep the momentum going to her first tour title (am i right in saying it would be?) tough match against Errani who beat Kirilenko but a match that Caro must be big favourite to win

she lost to Errani. Too bad. It was a great chance to get her first WTA title. She'll play Stockholm next week. She is seeded 4:

Seeds:
1. A. Radwanska
2. Szavay
3. Srebotnik
4. Wozniacki
5. Medina Garrigues
6. Mirza
7. K. Bondarenko
8. Erakovic

draw:

R32: Qualifier
R16: Lain/Panova
QF: Medina Garrigues
SF: Radwanska

Should be easy for her to get to QF.

Caroline won the SF and Final today, and got herself her first WTA tour title. She didn't drop a set during the entire tournament, and defeated Radwanska 6-4 6-1 in the SF, and then Dushevina 6-0 6-2 in the final. Great tournament for Wozniacki.
Beating Radwanska today was her 4th top10 win of the season. She will also be seeded among the 24 best at the US Open, and I think she has a good chance of making an upset and advancing further than her seeding. She usually beat the lower-ranked players, and she is a threat to anyone in the top20. Her goal is to reach top20 by the end of the year, and I am pretty confident she will do so.

wow, I'm impressed, congrats to Caro!
Unfortunately i could't watch any match of that tournament, but the fact that she didn't lose a set says enough. Keep it up! :)

thanks for the pic, chungwit.

Caroline is 23rd in the ranking with 1115 points, so already very close to top 20

Caro just beat Cibulkova in a weird match. 7-6(7) in the first set tie-break and then a retirement from Cibulkova. But the match still lasted 1h23. The match seemed to be close but 6 breaks in total and a lot of mini-breaks in the tie-break. But none the less, a good win for Caro. Cibulkova has been in form lately, and the last time they met, Cibulkova won 60 67 61.

Wozniacki has taken title number 2 in New Haven, defeating Anna Chakvetadze (the top seed) 3-6 6-4 6-1.
She has now moved into the top twenty at 18th - 12 points behind Cornet who is ranked 17th.
