Was newcastle good or man Utd bad ?

Newcastle have so much offensive potential but they always had a terrible defense

Bit of both really, we have a really good record against Newcastle and last season we scoree 11 goals against them in our two league games but they have certainly improved but then again the team we put out against them on sunday was no where near the class of the team that played in the champions league final last season. Up front we just didnt threaten or have the potential to threat as much as we would of liked. With Ronaldo, Saha and Tevez all out for different reasons we weren't gonna be creating as many changes as we would of liked.

Given pulled off 2 world class saves (1 he had no idea about) that kept us pinned back and we were lucky to equalise so soon after we conceded cause after that we didnt really look like we were going to break them down

Not the greatests of starts to the season and its not going to get any easy for us as our next 4 matches are away from home starting with Portsmouth, Zenit (Super Cup), then Liverpool and Chelsea back to back. We started with a draw last season and won the league and the champions league, but this is not to start I was hoping for again this season

Out for 2-3 weeks with a hamstring injury. Will miss Spains world cup qualifiers and will most likely miss the match between Liverpool and Manchester United on the 13th September
