Oh that's so sad! It would have been amazing if she would have won. But to be honest, it's maybe better for her not to play Serena. I left at 4-1 in the first set and I didn't think Danka could make it that competitive. It's a shame she lost, but I hope she can score some good results in Linz and Lu...

What a terrible loss, really. It's long time ago since a loss was so depressing for me. Altough I think she would'nt have won that Tournament (Makiri, ALG)... I don't want to read her blog :( :(

According to Tennisforum.com, Danka will play Luxembourg. A good decision IMO, she always played good at this Tournament. Not sure yet about Linz, but it might be her chance to get a title and qualify for Bali (if she won't in Seoul). Off topic: It's a shame that the WTA destroyed the European Indoo...

The Result is tough to take, but I think Daniela didn't play that bad. In the beginning she was very agressively and she hit some great BH angles. Serena was so damn good, she had so much power, she did just everything better than Danka. But IMO Danka didn't play worse than her Pennetta defeat in Ci...

 Unbelievable! So Daniela drew an Australian(Dellaqua) in the first round of the Australian Open,a Frenchwoman(Razzano) at Roland Garros,a Brit(Robson) at Wimbledon and now an American at Flushing Meadows. How spooky is that? I really like that. So she will play on one of the bigger courts :...

Daniela's 22nd seed. Picture 2.png http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/tennis/usopen09/news/story?id=4421763 Dominika withdrew with a rib injury. Poor Dominika :( But now Szavay is seeded and Cirstea has a 24-seeding :) Too many dodgy 1st rounders though.... Here are 10 players I really hope Daniela w...

Hopefully she won't draw Clijsters or Szavay :( but I fear she will get a tricky opponent. Great 2 see that she isn't playing New Haven (altough the field is quiet bad for a Premier Event), so she has enough preparation for the US Open and we (hopefully) won't see a fatigue-blow-out à la Shvedova.

Great to see that she got one of the 17-24 seedings, thanks to her solid results in the past weeks. Well that means she will draw someone seeded 9-16 in the 3R: #9: WOZNIACKI, Caroline DEN #10: PENNETTA, Flavia ITA #11: IVANOVIC, Ana SRB #12: RADWANSKA, Agnieszka POL #13: PETROVA, Nadia RUS #14: BAR...

  woohooo Chokentuchova is back! She held a 4-2 lead and now it's 4-5. Really don't know how she's doing that.
