Extremely depressing, really Daniela must have been really bad to lose against Hercog on Hardcourt. The only positive thing is that she has now enough time to prepare for a hopefully not too bad indoor season at Linz and Luxembourg.

Argh Danka, stupid how she wasted those SP's. One BH return netted and another BH return wide

NOO Daniela!!! Why on earth is she having so much trouble with King? She really should have won the 1 set but she just made too many UE's... Please step it up, I don't want a Safina-Win and then a King-loss!!!

Well Danka was troubled by Safina in their last meetings, but back then Safina was on the top. This match is going to be interesting. If Safina wins this one, she may gain her confidence back and be a dangerous floater at New York. However, if Daniela wins, she has a good win and a nice chance of re...

Oh Daniela :( for her it must be a Pavlyuchenkova-like match-up. Just too much firepower from the other side. Gotta hate that Kleybanova loses in 1R of three straight Tournaments (including a straight-sets loss to Ana  ) and then unexpectedly runs into the SF of a premier event, knocking out m...

On the other side, Pavlyuchenkova really has rythm now. Danka had a slow start yesterday and it might be hard today as well. If Daniela takes the opening set, it would help a lot. She has also the advantage if the match goes long, because of the longer break. Additionally, she's the 3-sets-queen.

Honestly, I've no idea how she wants to beat Cibulkova with all those UE's and such a footwork. Dominika on the other side with her movement and her low number of UE's is poison for Daniela.

Well that was an easy job (as expected). I wonder why she does not play Paris. The draw is really weak and it would have been a good chance to score some points here. Dubai next week will be terrible.

6-0

Well done Danka. Some really good Tennis. Although she looks REALLY skinny once again...

The National Tennis Centre should really get some new Tennis Courts. The ones in my local Tennis Club (120 biggest city in Switzerland) do look better than these.

She will play Ekaterina Ivanova in the first round. Definitely my first choice over Voskoboeva, Kudryavtseva and Karatantcheva. She'll play the last match on court 1. Hopefully it won't rain again.

Well the draw is not too bad, altough you never know with Danka. A qualifier has already won some matches and she was in trouble against Szavay and Bammer in the past. Peng, King and Benesova shouldn't be big threats. If she plays well, she'll reach the SF which would be awesome (especially against ...
