I cant wait to see her playing again.

It seems she had quite a good result here and at the other US open series as well... but hope Daniela will have a good run at one of them at least, now when serena is out. But still many players will be dangerous...

too many dangerous players. Zvonareva, Sharapova, Clijsters... I still remember that 3 hours long match against Zvonareva, Daniela won it but it was neverending match.

Good Luck Daniela here. ;)

The entry lists for the American hardcourt tournaments are almost always pretty tough, and this one is no different. Hope the draw is kind enough to her to let her get a foothold in the tournament and get a couple of wins under her belt.

This is an important tournament as Daniela's defending quarter-final points from last year and a good run here would give her confidence and momentum for the rest of the US Open series. Daniela can beat most of the players here although there are a lot of good players in the draw, so most of the matches are likely to be tough. Any potential opponent has to be respected.
Hopefully Daniela's recovered from her back and shoulder problems and she's fully fit because she's got a lot of tournaments to play and the fitter and healthier she is, the more likely she is to play well and win matches. Daniela's fitness won her a lot of matches in last year's hardcourt season.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

Wow, I feel I havent seen daniela in ages. She is training or was doing so at Bolletieri under Nick's supervision. Is she still with the young coach?

Hope she can get a decent draw to defend her points.

I always want to believe, but the draws speak for themselves :/

Peer is very strong opponent for the 1R, even Cibulkova has better draw, I think...

Peer can blow away Daniela by hitting everything back... forcing daniela to make a lot of errors. Lets hope it will be otherwise :/

Good luck Daniela!
