HELLO EVERYONE!

Hey everyone and welcome to my new blog where I’m going to share with you a little bit of my world and the passion I have for traveling, health and fitness. You all have been a huge part of my incredible tennis career and none of the success would have meant anything to me for if I was not able to share with you all as well! Now I owe you big time and as a little thank you for that I’m going to share things outside of tennis which interest me and which I feel like you would like learn and hear about too! So without any delays let’s get straight to it and start with the very first blog which is all about where I’m right now and little bit of traveling tips while being here Later on if there are things that you would like to hear about and find out about from me about something else, please do let me know so that I don’t bore with stuff that may not even interest you at all:)!!!

Right now I’m in Monte Carlo, which I call my second home for the past 16 years. Still even today when I wake up I find it surreal that I’m actually able to call this home. Not for the luxurious things of this place-don’t get me wrong, I think all who know me know that I’m not into that stuff at all(well smites yes), but for the fact that it is a proof that dreams do come true.. We came here with my parents and my brother for the first time when I was 14years old and my parents told me that this is where all the top tennis players of the world live. In my little head I created a vision of me living here one day and here I’m….
Thankful to everything that happened to me on the way, good and bad as it is all part of growing and learning about ourselves…

Now that i have been here for so long I think I’m allowed to give you few little tips what to explore and where to go while being in Monaco ! An absolute must is the obvious tourist visit of the castle and the surrounding gardens from where you have beautiful views of Monte Carlo port (photo attached, courtesy of my brother Igor and the Fontveile port. Fontvielie port is a great place for Sunday lunch and just to stroll around admiring all the boats. My favorite restaurant is la Saliere where they have the best pizza in town and best ice-cream with coffee as an desert:)!!!Friday and Saturday evening I suggest you make reservation as it is always busy…
One of the main reasons why I love being here is that it gives me great opportunity to train in the best conditions possible, whether it is for tennis in the Monte Carlo country club, or running on the track in the stadium of the Monaco soccer club or heading to the Worlds gym for a good workout or exploring the countless stairs for some proper leg work out, if you are into sports you can never get bored here!! Plus you can admire these wonderful views while working hard. It doesn’t get much better than this…
I just realized that i would need at least 10 other blogs to write you all about this place so let me finish here and I will talk about it more in my future blogs. This time I will take you outside of Monaco and we will explore all the little wonderful middle age villages which actually are my most favorite parts of this place!
