Woooow what a brilliant match. Looks like she played some great tennis! 5 points from 0-40 down to win the match! She seemed like she won all the important points! She knew whe they were and tried to get through and she did! Last year she wasn't winning these type of physical matches but she won! Looking forward for tomorrow, hoping there will be live quarter final streams.... Ammanmuradova is a winnable match and dani can end up in the semis on Saturday! Only to verse zvonareva... Take one match at a time! Also ever since I've used this iPhone live scoring app she has won!!!! We need Ana and Vera to be upset and dani could win this title. She will get a dew ranking points!!!

Wow! I really didn't expect this, but was hoping :D I watched the scoreboard a few times at school...

I thought it would be a 3 setter after she win the first set. But she won it in 2. Perfect! :)

Finally some wins this year! :)

This is a great win for Daniela who kept fighting, didn't get discouraged in adversity like at the end of the first set and she showed great desire and clutch play to win the last five points of the match. Date Krumm had won all the previous meetings and she'd had a lot of very good wins against top players like Pavlyuchenkova, Shazza, Stosur and Li Na since the US Open so this is big boost for Daniela and will give her a lot of confidence. I'm so happy for her.

"I just tried to be really aggressive and focus on the first point to the last," Hantuchova said after the match.
"I think physically I'm in much better shape now than in the previous meetings. I was fighting for every point and never gave up on anything."


"It was a great game,'' Hantuchova said. ''She's been fighting for every point. A lot of young girls could take a lot from her. It's tough at that age to keep fit. I really do admire her.''
She's got to be up for Amanmuradova and make sure that there isn't a let down.


Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

Today is my perfect day :D I was there to saw Dani win over KDK :wav:
Dani's playing much better than the day before, especially her serve so well and a lot of cross-court winner.
Dani really aggressive and fucus to every point.

Today I met Dani before the match start I can take pics with her, and she has signed an autograph for me. ;)
Dani's veryyyyyyyyy cute and she smiles all the time when waiting me to pick out the calendar for her autogarph.

For me, Dani won the match and I met her in real life It's been a really special time.

Yeah, but against Zvonareva, it will be over...

Still, I'm happy for her. This is quite a good achievement. All in all, great tournament to gain some confidence!


Hope she wins this match easily and we will be able to watch her SF match against Zvonareva. At least she will play against top player :)
