This is a decent draw. Duque Marino did win Bogota on clay, she beat Chakvetadze at Roland Garros last year and she plays on clay a lot so she could be tough while Morita has been competitive against Daniela when they've played in the past. Daniela's recent form's been pretty good and as long as she plays well she should win. I'd favour Daniela against any of the potential third round opponents. Jankovic would be the most likely quarter-final opponent should Daniela get there and she'd be tough as she's very good on clay and she'll have a lot of confidence after winning Indian Wells. At the same time, Daniela played well against Jankovic in Madrid last year, so she's got a reasonable chance. I go back to my mantra of one match at a time and Daniela has to beat Morita or Duque Marino first.

Hopefully, Daniela's fully fit and over her back injury and can play well here. If she's healthy and in form she can do well.

Daniela Hantuchova is right about everything.

It's a decent draw for Daniela and getting the 8th seeding was a bit of luck. Daniela and clay is about as unpredictable as it gets so we'll just have to take every match as it comes in this part of the season and hopefully Daniela can pick up some useful results.

I hope we will see her in final :)

Daniela vs Jankovic would be a nice Fed Cup preview...

Yes! Another match with JJ on clay. Even if she lose the match, she will know what to improve to beat her in Serbia!

But also looking back, when Daniela is among the Top seeds she always manage to bring her best on court. It's really hopefull seeing her trying her best. I have the feeling that she will gonna built on the match against Venus to add some confidence and be a little more strong on mental side.

I have the feeling that she will achieve big goals after RG.

Let's hope she can do great results before Roland Garros!

I do feel after Monterray and Miami that Daniela is due for a title soon...

Providing Daniela gets past Morita, she won't play Razzano. Razzano lost to Adamzak in 3.

Jankovic is a set down to Gallovits, but I suspect that Jelena will turn it around.

However, on paper if Jankovic loses then Daniela is the highest seed to the semis, but that's getting WAY beyond myself...

Daniela won after being 6-4 2-0 up. Morita retired. Not the way to win, Morita must have hurt herself somewhere after 4-4 because it was very competitive up to then...

At least Daniela will be fresh for either Adamczak or Kerber...both are an unknown quantity to me...anyone know much about them??
