YAY!!

time for short celebration. I watched that on British Eurosport australia. Nice clean winners, just needs to keep her level. Suarez Navarro may push Dani a little more but I think Dani's scoreline will be like 6-3 6-3.

Also I was in Melbourne yesterday and it is getting the feeling of Australian Open again. RLA is plastered Australian Open.
Also I am going to the Australian Open next year (because I live 25 minutes away, not halfway around the world), is any1 else going???

An absolutely fantastic win by Daniela. She was playing a potentially tricky opponent who'd generally been competitive against good players and she had a convincing win. She came through the challenges early on and raced away with the match. It would have been great if she'd been able to serve it out but we'll take 6-1 6-2. A win like this will be good for her confidence and hopefully it didn't put any stress on her body.

"I thought for sure it was going to be a tough match so I tried to be ready from the beginning," said Hantuchova. "Except at the begining and the end I thought I was pretty focused." @ tournament website.

Hi everyone, thank you for your support, I really appreciate it

It has been nice to come back to Linz, the same courts I won my title a few years ago. I've had nice memories here... I was really pleased with my first match. I didn't really know what to expect today, but I kept my focus the whole match and did the correct things tactically.

i got up at 5 in the morning in AUS time and at 6.30 when it was over I was like cool i can go back to bed!! which I can never do with Dani's 3 set tussles. :lol:

good question... I think the tournament direction will prefer Bammer and in worst case move Danka's match.
If that's going to be the case, we'll have to see...

Let's just hope all matches finish quickly.
