sometimes i see in registered users google(bot) what is this?
just from curiousity
I think these bots purpose is adding this website in their search database, so that if you for example type in "Daniela Hantuchova" or "Daniela Hantuchova forum" on Yahoo/Google website, it will show this website when the searching is done, because it contains infos about the topic you were looking for (in this case it was Daniela Hantuchova).

Its not a problem, just a question.
I have noticed that number of posts in one page of every thread has changed from 10 to 30. Isnt that too much?

personally I prefer 15 for some reason. I don't know if it is a setting each user can set for himself or if it something an admin can do, I'll check it out :)

Some slovak members told me they can't send a new post because the forum will tell them they can't reply in such a short time after previous reply, while in fact they didn't make any previous reply.
"You cannot make another post so soon after your last."

edit: It works now, I tried some things in the admin log (you can see it), you can change it back if you want. But who knows whether the members will be albe to post then.
Uughh, for some members it still ain't working. :?

Post subject:  Re: problems

maybe it's because of the problem with the forum time we had yesterday...

some posts in the slovak forum still have the time stamp of tomorrow...

it's always annoying when a wrong time mixes up everything..

maybe i can fix it in the database, wait a moment..

Post subject:  Re: problems

is it possible to add a picture as your signature?

Author:  BlueDragon [ 24. May 2008 11:38 ]
Post subject:  Re: problems

yes, of course it is possible, but i didn't activate this function, because i find it a bit annoying to have under every post a huge blinking picture. This might be an extreme scenario, but it's just to show you what i'm afraid of. ;)

To avoid this, we can also determine a maximum image size for signatures. The Question is: How big is the image you want to add to yours?

Anyway, i'll ask the other Admins for their opinion ;)

Post subject:  Re: problems

It would be good to maybie discuss a size that suits everone. Suggestions anyone?

Post subject:  Re: problems

well, we allowed images in signatures then. The maximum size is 500x150 pixels, this should be enough, i guess
