I like that France played in matching outfits for the Hopman Cup, it showed team unity.

Maybe it's just me but I think Nicolas Mahut is enjoying wearing that outfit just a bit too much

I didn't really mind who won the Australian Open then I saw Ivanovic in Djokovic's box and then I was "Come on Andy!"

I think Murray will win a slam as soon as he dumps Kim Sears, that entire family is a deadweight on anyone's career.

Djokovic did play great tennis from the quarter-final onwards.

It's right, but the BBC article misses one aspect... The extension project of the stadium at the current place (Roland Garros) means that a part of a botanical garden located nearby will be destroyed. Of course, old greenhouses will be preserved, however, modern ones will disappear, and the overall surface of the garden will be reduced. So there is still a lot of controversy in the Parisian population regarding this project, and it is probably not the end of the story....

There is no ideal solution for this tournament, unfortunately. Leaving an historic and prestigious place for going to suburb is not good, but annexing (partly) a nice garden is also not perfect....

I think Djokovic is enjoying this a lot more than the dolphin. Where's he going with his hands anyway?

Ouch. Just ouch. Kim's alright in my book-at least she never storms out of Andy's matches when he's playing crap.

Mario Ancic has retired aged 26 after years of injury and illness. He's going to become a lawyer.

Swimming with dolphins is good for your tennis, Djokovic won Dubai.

Daniel Koellerer banned for life for match-fixing

Former world number 55 Daniel Koellerer has been given a life ban from the sport for match-fixing.

The 27-year-old Austrian, currently ranked 385th, has been found guilty of three charges under the Uniform Tennis Anti-Corruption Programme.

They include "contriving or attempting to contrive the outcome of an event" between October 2009 and July 2010.

"The life ban applies with immediate effect," said the anti-corruption Tennis Integrity Unit (TIU).

"Mr Koellerer is not eligible to participate in any tournament or competition organised or sanctioned by the governing bodies of professional tennis."

Koellerer, who was also fined $100,000 (£61,000), has the right to appeal at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

Novak Djokovic is the new world number 1. He's the first man other than Roger Federer or Rafael Nadal to be number 1 since January 2004 and win Wimbledon since 2002.
