oh, i didn't know that Federer has a negative record aainst Murray :shock:

Its an easy mistake to make, Federer doesnt have a losing record against manner people

Wasnt the final that I had hoped for (which was probably good cause I was tired as hell last night lol) but still a great fortnight for Murray. He can take solace in the fact that Djokovic done the same this time last year, and then went on to win the Aussie Open. Can lighting strike twice?

murray qualified for shanghai.great season for him until now.
i was expecting more fight in the final.maybe the fact that was playing for
first time in major final?pressure?
but against nadal played brilliantly

Great achievement for Murray to reach his first season ending masters with the indoor season still to come. There is no doubt that the pressure on Murray showed a little bit but i want to take nothing away from Federer who was simply awesome in last nights final. Murray has shown that he is the real deal now and hopefully there will be many more grand slam finals to come

Glad Murray has qualified this year, having narrowly missed out last year.
About Federer, yes he played well, but he won the Slam without having to beat Nadal, having lost to him in the last two finals. So I don't agree with all these users who claim he is deserving of his number 1 status once again etc.

Andy and Jamie have just lost in the first round of the doubles to Arnaud Clement and Michael Llodra, 6-4 6-3 in 58 minutes. Not the closest of scorelines but at least they took three more games off the French doubles specialists than they did in their previous meeting at the Beijing Olympics.
