Gonzales and Chardy currently have to play in an almost empty stadium in Rome due to the rain today

And it's also very cold there (13 °C), you can even see the players' breath!!
not the best conditions to play tennis :?

One of the greatest claycourters of this generation Guillermo Coria retired from tennis for lack of motivation. He used to be one of my favourite players to bet on back in 03-04.

Shame about Guille,he was a tremendous player to watch-I particularly enjoyed his two finals against Nadal in 2005(Monte Carlo+Rome). Too bad his shoulder injury wrecked his career.

I might be slow, but I just heard that Gasquet has been tested positive for cocaine during the Miami tournament. Why do they keep taking cocaine??

I think its fairly fresh news. I was really surprised. He's one of the last players I would think would take a banned substance. If he is unable to prove his innocence then he could be given a two-year ban, which would probably ruin his career since his 'prime' tennis years would be taken away from him. Although I personally doubt he did take it consciously so a two-year ban seems highly unlikely, and if it went that far then the FFT would probably get involved, and that would most certainly bode well for Gasquet.

Great come-back win from Nadal today, beating Djokovic in three very tight sets: 3-6 7-6[7-5] 7-6[11-9], in just over 4 hours! And after saving THREE match points in the final set tie-break. Will probably take Djokovic a few days to come to terms with this defeat. Nadal just too good on clay, especially when matches go the distance and get tight.
Madrid Final: Nadal[1] v Federer[2] or Del Potro[5].

Roger is back on track!!!!
Federer def Nadal 6-4 6-4

No errors, good serve (Nadal didn't break Federer once!), good tactics and a working forehand again :)

(Will he be next Roland Garros Champion? :D :D )

Well I think the fact that Nadal played a 4hour match yesterday, and was playing in his fourth final in five weeks had something to do with his loss. I won't be reading too much into Federer's win.
