Don't know if this is the right place to post this, but it should be noted that Chris Eaton beat James Ward in the Davis Cup playoff tie by winning the final set 21-19 in a mere 6 hours 40 minutes. Best match that no-one will ever see!

Brief mention about the Davis Cup tie between Great Britain and the Ukraine, Murray had to withdraw because of his virus, which thankfully has turned out to be not as bad as first thought, but unfortunately that meant that we went with Goodall and Eaton in our singles. Needless to say Ukraine had the tie wrapped up after the doubles, although that was pretty tight, going down to the fifth and final set. Ukraine won the tie 4-1 with dead rubber wins for Ukraines Sergeyev against Goodall, and a win for Eaton against Marchenko.

Great Britain will face Poland in a Euro/Africa Zone I Relegation tie later in the year.
