so many good pics in this thread. I would never have guessed. Love that pic of Vika hiding the adidas logo on the front and rolling her sleeve up as much as possible. And the pic of the soccer players, love it for very different reasons. Hubba hubba |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFvrAdyFUJ8 - Paul the Octopus picks Spain. I hope so. We have a competition at work which started right before the World Cup. We all had to choose 4 teams but from the different seeding layers. I picked Spain from the best seeding layer to win the entire thing, and if they do, I think I'll end 2nd in the competition. |

I dont like those tipping games, because it ruines the enjoyment in watching the matches. I tipped the USA to win against Ghana and although Ghana deserved it to win in the end I wasn't happy about it. So I stopped doing it. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFvrAdyFUJ8 - Paul the Octopus picks Spain. --> Apparently Christiano Ronaldo's calling his kid Christiano. He's also bought a football team with Andy Murray, which sounds impressive and also a bit of an unlikely partnership, until you find out that they were part of a consortium of 2000 and they only stumped up £40 each: I should have signed up, then I could get into any tennis tournament simply by saying that I'm a business partner of Andy Murray. Of course, not all tennis-football partnerships work out as well as hoped: Dunga's left Brazil, so there's a vacancy: Mourinho did look a lot happier hugging Cassano but other coaches are more into it |

Paul was right. What a bunch of hacking thugs the Dutch were: Combining a Chuck Norris and Dr Christian Barnard tribute in one foul move. I was happy Spain won, they played football, plus Gerard Pique goes all over the world to watch Daniela play. I felt this was rather sweet: |

Paul is dead Paul the octopus, an unlikely star of the 2010 World Cup who predicted the outcome of eight matches, has died at an aquarium in Germany. Staff at the Sea Life centre in Oberhausen said they were devastated to learn that he had passed away during the night. Paul made his name by successfully choosing a mussel from one of two boxes bearing the flags of competing nations. Octopuses rarely live beyond two years so his death was not unexpected. |

South Africa, Brazil, Russia, Qatar. I guess FIFA is not in business to maximize profit. Whether that should be the goal or not is debatable, but I cannot imagine any of the other major sports leagues thinking that way. |

I'm sure Messrs Blatter, Warner et al will have maximised their personal profit from the bidding process. |

Ronaldo, the World Cup's greatest goalscorer, has retired aged 34. As great as he was, if he hadn't had all these injuries he'd have been so much better. Goodbye Il Fenomeno. |
