Well last night was the franetic transfer deadline day and with Manchester City being bought out by an Abu Dhabi group yesterday they suddenly became the shock side of the window signing Robinho for a British Record transfer fee of £32.5m from under the noses of Chelsea who had been chasing him for a while. Press conference with the new Man City owners: |

HELLO THERE, THIS IS MY FIRST POST SO PLEASE FORGIVE ANY MISTAKES. AS A HUGE MUTD FAN SINCE THE 1990 FA CUP FINAL (C.PALACE 3-3, YES I AM THAT OLD !!) YOU CAN IMAGINE MY DISAPPOINTMENT AFTER THE MATCH WITH LIVERPOOL NOT BECAUSE WE LOST, BUT ESPECIALLY BECAUSE OF THE WAY WE PLAYED. I HATE TO ADMIT BUT IT SEEMS THAT RONALDO = MUTD. WE NEED TO WIN AT LONDON NOW, IN ORDER TO KEEP IN TOUCH WITH THE OTHER TOP TEAMS. GOOD NIGHT GUYS !! |

Both my main sporting interests lose and both put in disappointing performances. Ah well, we've got a nice easy game next week to get back into the swing of things....Chelsea....Away Scott |

Is it true that christiano will play against villareal ?? We were expecting his return in october... Yep, he is expected to return mid week against Villareal. He was meant to return at the beginning of October but he did say a few weeks ago that he expected to return earlier than originally said. I expect him to start on the bench, and for him to make an appearance sometime in the 2nd half of the champions league tie Scott |

John Terry will be able to play against Man.Utd after Chelsea’s appeal for the red card he got against Man.City... Yep, not happy about that, but not surprised either. It shouldnt of been a red card in the first place but nevermind. We're facing an uphill battle against Chelsea at the weekend as it is, especially after last weeks performance, but now its made tougher Scott |

Bad news for Chelsea fans, it seems that Essien’s injury was very bad. It will keep him away for about 5 months. He was injured in the game Ghana v Libya..... |
