has the match started already? They were crushed 6-1 in the first, but lead 2-1* in the second. Well, they had double break point for 3-1, but couldn't convert and didn't win another game from there. The tournament ends up being a total wash for Daniela. The good news, I guess, is that it cannot po...

Daniela and Flavia (who won in three sets earlier today) are up next against top seeds Chan and Chuang. I don't like their chances, but here's hoping.

The illness, the total mishandling of her injury and now two terrible performances in a row. She's won one match since March. One. Even recognizing that much of this isn't her fault (the in...

According to Tobi at Tennis Forum, Daniela is on the entry list for New Haven. That's a wise decision as it's going to have a weaker field than usual with the Olympics. Top players now are Safina, AChak, Zvonareva, Szavay, Bartoli and of course Daniela.

But again this with an italian husband and one or two kids in the furture. Why she always say this in italian interviews? ;) What I linked to is actually the...

Well, her official website turns out to be useful for something. There, you will find some lovely pictures of Daniela in Rome. I have to run, so I cannot post them in the pictures section right now. There is an article to accompany the photos here. That's the Google translation from Italian to Engli...

There are articles in the slovak press, Daniela possibly couldn't participate at the Olympic Games. And they say something about antidoping. Maybe she has missed the doping controls during her injury? Cas Pluska Pravda It's way too much for me to translate everything, maybe some of the Slovak or Cz...

8 bye's.ivanovic the defending champion not here? Yes, I was surprised to see this too. Sharapova (2007 semi-finalist) and Dememtieva (2007 quarter-finalist) are not here either. So rankings at the top could change dramatically over the coming weeks, particularly since Serena is playing in Stanford...

From tennisreporters.net, "Hantuchova is nowhere close to her level in just her second tournament back post a bad foot injury. Its frustrating,” said Hantuchova, who was out for two and a half months with the injury. "It wasn't a very good performance. I'm at about 70 percent. It's the con...

The livestream is a bit behind the live scoreboard which is really annoying. You cannot just watch the livestream as it's hard to keep score on your own.
