Awesome job by Daniela, showing some serious mental strength these days. Wish my the scoreboard would work better for me at my job. Thanks eddy for the updates. Yesterday I had jury duty and had to follow scoreboard there and I was stuck on a plane when she demolished Wozniacki. I can't seem to catc...

All in all a very good week. Sabine was just too good today. A lot of positives can be taken from the last couple of weeks. The match against Ivonovic has to give her loads of confidence, she just ran into a very in form Sabine today. The way she broke down Ivanovic's backhand was masterful. Dani do...

This tournament is a very good chance for Daniela to go on a run, keep her momentum and pick up some points to get a better seeding for Wimbledon. I hope that Daniela doesn't burn herself out because she's been playing a lot over the past couple of months. The important thing is that she's fit and ...

Daniela certainly has the more powerful forehand. I don't think she has yet regained the power she had before the stress fracture in her heel, but there have been promising signs this year. The gruelling nature of clay court tennis is such that it seems Daniela has problems maintaining the strength ...

She didn't shake umpires hand? When was the last time that happened? Brisbane against Savay? I know she didn't shake the umps hand at New Haven in '07 when she lost to Savay.

Where will her ranking be? Any chance of a seed at Roland Garros? Is she playing Strasbourg?

I can't watch the match and the SB is so damn slow I can't handle it. Wish the streams would work on my computer, but all I get is darkness. Hopefully she can stay calm and play smart tennis. I'm sure the crowd isn't helping things.

Good for her. McHale in the next round. Should be tough. Will def be on main court, which will be Dani's first time playing there this tournament. Hopefully she can handle McHale. That Kleybanova scoreline scares me.

When was the last time Daniela lost just one point on her serve in a set. Good showing so far.

McHale destroyed Kleybanova 6-1 6-0, this opens up a nice path for Daniela. Although McHale is no joke, I saw her at lasy year's US Open and she's got a nice game. She's been playing pretty well this year too. Granted this was Kleybanova's first match on green clay, but still a surprising result.

I was thinking about how unlucky Daniela can be sometimes. On her first set point she hit a blazing return which clipped the line and Caro couldn't handle it. The linesman called it out, Dani challenged, was correct, and they had to replay the point. Had the linesman got it right the match would hav...
