| If the Olympic situation arose before the match it would have been a huge distraction and very stressful for Daniela and caused her to lose focus and concentration. It would have had a bad effect on anyone. |

| I can't believe that Daniela could miss the Olympics because of an oversight or misunderstanding that could be resolved very easily. Daniela's one of the the famous and successful Slovakian athletes and this would cause so many long-term problems for her, for the Fed Cup and the Slovakian tennis ass... |

| Hopefully Daniela can get a reasonable draw and get some wins, but the cliche of one match at time applies. Right now, all I'm looking for is that Daniela plays better than she did in Stanford but we'll see what happens. |

A very good win by Dominika, and an all Slovakian quarter-final would be nice.
Wimbledon looks a lot better for Dominika given how well Zheng did there. |

| At least Daniela played fairly well in the doubles and she got a chance to get used to the court before the singles. Ai wasn't exactly convincing against Glatch but will still be a tough opponent for Daniela. |

| I'm sure Daniela's playing doubles primarily to get some match practice and Black & Huber apart, there aren't really any other top teams there. Poutchek & Rodionova are seeded 4 here but are ranked 79, so Daniela and Petrova have a decent chance and they've played together before and they're... |

| It's a reasonable enough draw. I think that how well Daniela does depends a lot on her fitness and also how confident she feels in her fitness. If Daniela plays at or near her best, she can beat anyone in her half of the draw, but she's short of match practice while players like Petrova and Bondaren... |
